Easy assembly. Perfect for turning a boys room into a teen room. Used for many sleepovers, futon used to play video games while bed stays clean at the top. Recommend 2 people to assemble took us about 3 hours, but not hard to do just a lot of parts. Works great with both 6 inch mattress and futon mattress.
