    Nice chair for most

I ordered a chair from this page that isnt listed any longer, but the chairs on this page seems to be the same exact chair with different upholstery all from the same seller. First off, the one I bought was white faux leather. I bought it based on the flip up arms and a couple things I noticed in the pics / the seat faced down in the front a little, second, the seat back was naturally tilted back a bit and third. The lumbar support didnt seem intrusive / at 5 3, lumbar supports on every chair below a smaller Herman Miller hit me above the lumbar area, and this can be painful. First off, I emailed Mykas a question and they got back to me quickly with a clear response. Always a plus to buy from a responsive seller. The chair arrived in a virtually perfect box / most chairs arrive here in boxes that look like theyve been drop/kicked off a plane into a war zone. Not only was the box undamaged, but the chair parts were packaged carefully and thoughtfully with an eye to keeping it clean and undamaged, which it was. Ive bought much more expensive chairs that werent half as well packaged. Assembly could have been easier, but some issues are par for the course at this price range. One screw came, as my husband put it, pre/stripped. While assembly was a bit frustrating, it didnt actually take long. The tool it came with wasnt quite right, and there was a piece of welding rod in one of the wheel receptacles. Again, not unexpected at this price range, and neither turned out to be a real issue. When the chair was fully assembled, it was very attractive, although thats not my main concern with a chair. But it doesnt hurt, either. Im 5 3, and my current seat is set at 17 1/2 inches, so I thought 18 1/2 inches would be fine, but the lowest the seat went to was almost 21 1/2 inches, and my feet didnt quite reach the floor. I thought I could use a foot rest, so this didnt worry me particularly. The wheels are a step above chairs in this price range and 2 to 3 steps above the average cheap desk chair. The arms are nicely padded and flip up easily. The seat padding is, as others have said, on the thin side, but we have some really nice memory foam cushions, so that wasnt a major thing. For me, the problem was that the seat didnt angle slightly downward as it clearly did in the pic; it angled slightly upward as do most desk chair. This is quickly painful for the backs of my thighs, perhaps due to my height, and it was painful with this chair, as well. I was going to arrange to send it back when my 6 7 husband sat on it. Its perfect for him, and hes been working from home using a dining table chair. So were keeping the chair, and hes very happy with it. Since not every shorter person may have my particular issues, Id like to point out that if youre comfortable on a regular desk chair, the fact that the seat doesnt point down wont be an issue for you as it is for me. if you want a seat back thats always in touch with your back and youre shorter, be aware that the seat is generously deep, so you may need a cushion. Since I prefer more front to back seatroom, I found it ideal. Taller people will find the extra chair depth a good thing. My 6 7 husband fits with no discomfort. For the price, its a very nice chair / better than others Ive tried out or owned at up to twice the price. If youre not rough with upholstery and dont have cats who love scratching leather and leatherlike stuff, and you need flip up arms, these chairs are definitely worth considering. Fantastic Size.
