This chair was extremely soft, however some part of the backs shape caused me to experience back pain after sitting in the chair for about 30 minutes. Not conducive to working an 8 hour day at a desk. Thankful that the company honored their return policy on such a large bulky item. Too many parts. Assembly is a pain.
