NOT COMFORTABLE
Very nice looking but not at all comfortable.
Love this stool but it broke
I had this chair for 10 months. Love it. Very comfortable. But it broke. I opened it up to check and found a weakness. I tend to shift around a lot when Im sitting. Normally Ill put my hands on the 2 sides, lift myself off the seat a bit, shift, and sit back down. A few days ago, the right side broke. When I peeled open the black felt and the upholstery covering, I found that the weld as snapped. The arm-back piece is upholstery wrapped on a steel frame. Likewise, the seat has a steel frame. The arm-back frame and the seat frame are spot/tack welded together. So with repeated stress from me lifting myself, the spot weld at the arm position snapped. The weakness, obviously is the spot/tack welded as oppose to continuous welded. Not a welder, I have no way to repair it. Bugs me that I have to replace this chair.
Theses counter stools are sturdy and beautiful
We really liked the style and size of these counter stools. The size capacity was exactly what we needed. As a tall -larger framed family we needed study counter stools that were comfortable for 6 ft 4 plus people.
Risk of cutting and potential improvement
I have been using this chair for one and a half years. So far so good. However at the corner of the handle portion, the metal rod pops out due to wear out of the wrapping material. With the edge of the metal part being sharp, it is a risk of cutting. The suggest improvement is to install a cap at the end of the rod or rounding the rod end. We are more than satisfied. Love it
Hydraulic mechanism failed after 6 months
Purchased 4 of these for newly remodeled kitchen. Loved them at first. Very comfortable sturdy for the most part. But after only 6 months of occasional use (at the bar) the hydraulic mechanism is failing on all 4 chairs. After your sitting for a few minutes, you slowly begin to go lower lower. Very upsetting!
Wish I would have
Nice seat but uncomfortable. You can feel the frame against your leg. The chair needs a little more cushion.
Great chair, but received only one!
Love the chairs: easy to assemble and very comfy. Just be aware when u order two chairs, mine came separately on 2 different days. Great product at great price
perfect
i didnt think i would like armless chairs but i love these. the material is soft and yet durable and easy to clean. the height adjustable is awesome. i also thought i needed a high back chair but again am blown away at how comfortable these chairs are. our other bar chairs where not swivel and wow what an addition. these chairs are also very light weight. in order push in our old stools you had to use 2 hands. when mopping the floors i can move the chair with hand and slide back as i move on never stopping mopping. Comfortable, and looks nice too.
